Creating Dialogue around the Great Challenges
The 20 Great Challenges of Health and Medicine are complex, persistent problems that have medical and non-medical causes, impact millions of lives, and affect the well-being of all of Americans. On April 19, TEDMED hosted a special RWJF-sponsored session devoted to the Great Challenges. During this session, they’ll explore how storytelling and narrative framework can help us gain a deeper understanding of some of the greatest challenges we face. Follow the Twitter conversation on the hashtag #GreatChallenges.
Highlighting New Approaches with The Hive
The innovation landscape around health and medicine is undergoing an important transformation, with entrepreneurs from inside and outside the industry creating bold ideas. With RWJF and other partners at the heart of The Hive, this space brings together a diverse array of leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators to showcase new approaches to innovation and scalable new ideas.
Capturing the Human Side of Health Care
Patient Translations, a multi-faceted art project, is on display at TEDMED. The work includes a visual art installation, a recording studio and voices of people talking about the experience of being a patient, supporting a patient or managing health.
