Mimi Turi, director of Program Finance, brings more than 20 years of executive expertise as a finance professional in nonprofit education, manufacturing, and public accounting industries to her work at RWJF. Having joined the Foundation in 2008, she manages the financial operations for the communications unit and provides financial expertise across the Foundation as needed. She views her role as one of “helping ensure good stewardship of the Foundation's funds.”
Previously, Turi was an executive director of finance in the higher education division of the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, N.J. She also was controller in the research and development division of BASF Corporation and held several executive positions, including assistant vice president and comptroller for the global agricultural products research division, at American Cyanamid Company. Turi served as a senior accountant at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company early in her career. In 2000, she received the YWCA Princeton Tribute to Women in Industry Achievement Award. She holds an MBA from Pace University and is a CPA.
Turi has served on the board of the Pennington Montessori School and has been an active volunteer in her community.
She resides in Pennington, N.J. with her husband, Chuck, a project manager for a Princeton-based residential construction firm, and their two children. She enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and following her children’s sports.
