SHADAC Launches Redesigned Web Site

Looking for information and insights on health coverage and access in the states?

Published: Dec 04, 2008

The University of Minnesota's State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC), funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, provides targeted policy analysis and technical assistance to help bridge the gap between health insurance data and the policy-making process. In an effort to enhance access to the timely and targeted health policy research being conducted by SHADAC, as well as the resources and technical assistance they provide, SHADAC has launched a new Web site, www.shadac.org.

The new Web site gives users easy access to research and resources related to issues of health insurance coverage, data collection methods and state health policy among many others:

  • health insurance coverage estimates
  • measures of insurance coverage
  • survey research methods
  • health policy reform
  • insurance types
  • access to care
  • health disparities.
