Recommendations from the Expert Review Panel and RWJF Response

In 2009, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation commissioned an independent panel of experts to take a fresh look at the Foundation’s approach to reversing the childhood obesity epidemic. The review panel was tasked with exploring three key questions:

Is the childhood obesity initiative achieving its desired outcomes to date?
How could the Foundation modify its investments to have a greater impact?
How should RWJF adjust its strategies to further efforts to reverse the childhood obesity epidemic?

This download publishes the recommendations made by the review panel and describes steps RWJF has taken thus far in response.
