In the President's Message of the RWJF 2006 annual report, Lavizzo-Mourey describes the substantial investment the Foundation is pledging over the next five years to help reverse the epidemic of childhood obesity. Reversing the epidemic by 2015 will require families, schools, government, industry, health care and philanthropy working together to change attitudes, social norms and policies.
