Jobs to Careers: Promoting Work-Based Learning for Quality Care will support partnerships to advance and reward the skill and career development of incumbent (currently employed) workers providing care and services on the front lines of our health and health care systems. The program seeks to develop and redesign systems that support and institutionalize learning and career advancement and test new models of work-based learning. The research grants will support applied research to inform these efforts. Research funded through this program will complement and supplement learnings from the Jobs to Careers’ implementation grants, which will fund partnerships of health and health care employers and educational institutions to promote the program’s objectives. |
