Wendy W. Hagen

Wendy W. Hagen was elected to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Board of Trustees in January 2001.

Hagen is a prominent communications strategist with extensive experience leading branding, advertising and social marketing campaigns for nonprofits, government agencies, industry organizations and corporations. Previously, she was a partner with global public relations firm Porter Novelli. Formerly, she served as executive vice president/chief marketing officer with Arnold Worldwide, a global advertising agency owned by Paris-based Havas. Prior to that, she directed corporate advertising for Lockheed Martin.

Hagen serves on the Advertising Week DC board and previously served as vice chair of the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ Mid-Atlantic council and on the communications board of the Navy League of the United States. She is a campus ambassador with the Advertising Educational Foundation and a frequent lecturer for the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies.

Hagen is a graduate of Georgetown University where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
